Delmarva Fisheries Association, Inc.

 

The Delmarva Fisheries Association works to defend, protect, and strengthen the commercial fishing industry in the Delmarva region. Through advocacy, education, and industry collaboration, DFA represents the interests of working watermen and the businesses that support them.

Membership in DFA helps ensure that the voices of the commercial fishing community are heard in fisheries management and legislative decisions affecting our industry.

Businesses, organizations, and individuals who support the future of commercial fishing are invited to join and become part of this important effort.

Membership Categories:

 

Corporate Member

(Seafood industry processors, wholesalers, packers, distributors, marketers)

Corporate members receive:

• Special recognition at DFA events and workshops
• Corporate logo displayed on the DFA website with a link to your website
• A designated contact person plus three additional representatives who receive DFA publications and email updates
• 10 DFA logo decals
  

Association Member

(Associations comprised of commercial watermen, seafood harvesters, and allied trade organizations)

Association members receive:

• A designated contact person plus three additional representatives who receive DFA publications and email updates
• Eligibility for 50% discounted Supporting Member dues for individual members of your association
• 4 DFA logo decals
  

Allied Business Member

(Restaurants, marinas, boat builders, marine trades, fishing supplies, financial services, fuel suppliers, electronics, transportation, lodging, and other supporting businesses)

Allied Business members receive:

• Business logo displayed on the DFA website with a link to your website
• Recognition at DFA events and workshops
• A designated contact person plus one additional representative who receive DFA publications and email updates
• 3 DFA logo decals
  

Aquaculture Member

Aquaculture members receive:

• Business logo displayed on the DFA website with a link to your website
• A designated contact person who receives DFA publications and email updates
• 2 DFA logo decals
  

Supporting Member

(Individuals who support the DFA mission, including recreational boaters, fishermen, and seafood supporters)

Supporting members receive:

• DFA publications and email updates
• 1 DFA logo decal
